Join SojoAction for a conversation with Hannah Bowman, author of Abolition Ecclesiology: A Spatial Theology for a Church Against Prisons. Moderated by Bryan Epps, this webinar will explore what prison abolition invites Christians to reconsider about punishment, accountability, and the life of the church.

Together, we will consider how Christian beliefs and practices shape our responses to harm—and what possibilities emerge when churches place care, dignity, and restoration at the center of community life. Bowman will invite us to reflect on how theology can inform a Christian commitment to a world beyond prisons.

What might it mean to be a church beyond punishment? How can congregations respond to harm while working toward healing and accountability? Join us as we explore these questions and consider what they might ask of our own communities.
